mutation breeding
I have always been interested in breeding IRN's of different colors.Well i had my chance and went for it.Now i have 7 pairs of IRN in my aviary and set up with some already on eggs.My issue is that i have no idea what the outcome of colors could be genetically on these pairs. The ones on eggs now are a Blue grey female and a yellow pied green male split blue. What could their outcomes be?? I have silvers, violet lacewings, pieds of different colors, greys and so forth. It will be like christmas when i get babies. Also, where is a good site to post babies for sale? have two just getting ready to wean that are both lime heavily yellow pieds.
I'm not a mutation breeder but here are some sites to advertise on

Is the male Dominant Pied or Recessive Pied? Breeding outcome would be different for both. If the male is mature enough and has a ring, then it is a Dominant Pied. Recessive Pied males are non-dimorphic and won't get rings just like Albinos. Hillerman Pieds and Salan Pieds would fall under Recessive Pieds.
Don't pair Violets with Greys as Grey will mask Violet. Unless you're adventurous with lots of breeding space for test breeding, pairing Lacewing with Cinnamon is also not advisable because of the complexities of genetic crossover and similarity of the offspring appearances.
