I am actually starting to wonder if Magellan has ever been around another ringie. She walks up to Lola and talks to her in English...Hi, how're ya doin, pretty girl, come on, hi sweetheart, how's my girl and big smacky kissy noises. She does cluck at her, but that may be imitating me too. Lola usually just snaps at her (but not always), but Magellan just backs off then comes back for more. It is pretty funny, she even has down my lean in, kiss the beak, then back off move. It is such a hoot. Now, if only Lola wasn't afraid of everything....she will run over and pull Gelly's tail every now and again. They are hilarious. Gelly is fully flighted and Lola is clipped

I love bringing the birds down and Tsume saying 'hey Hane' (learned from Hane himself). xD
Then they'll turn to one another with a chorus of "YEEAAAhhh!" and "pretty bird".

The only time they seem to talk in 'bird' is sometimes when they're separated- with contact calls.

And Killer, my male 'tiel, only spoke in english to Persephone at first. "Pretty Bird" and wolf whistles.
