bluffing?

Why is it that ringnecks go into the "bluffing" stage?

Well the "bluffing stage" is like teenage years for birds. They test your limits and bite unexpectedly, just like when teens test their parents to see how far they can go. lol :lol:

A fine cage won't feed the bird.

I have four of them that have pushed me past the limits. I cling to sanity only by a thread. Oh wait... this isnt therepy. *looks around*

Birds, right uhm, yeah they will pretend to hate you and lash out at you for no apparent reason.

Think of it as PMS for birds, however unlike with women, one cant back down from the bird. And the birds behavoir MUST be ignored all together. I dont recommend this technique for human females, we will kill you.

hehe sounds like fun i am looking foward to getting bitten for no reason and all that other stuff...although from what i have herd the end result is well worth it :lol:

At what age does this bluffing usually happen, Bobby is 1yr. but I have not been bittten as yet
