Ring age?

I have a DNA sexed lutino male with all the typical male behaviors but his ring has not even begun to appear. He will 2 years old in January. Everything I read is that it appears by 18months, well he has passed that a few months ago with nothing. How late do the rings appear. He is a gorgeous boy in all other aspects, I am just looking forward to seeing his ring.

The ring may not appear until 3 years of age. Just wait patiently, it will come in time :wink:

It depends what time your bird moults. All of my Ringnecks have gotten their rings at 2 years of age.
Most of my Ringnecks start moulting around December-January but i have a few that start their moult in September
