Hi

I have just joined your forum.

My name is Chloe and i have an IRN named Parka, who has just turned two. I have had a little experience with birds, I bred cockatiels for a few years and then decided that my time would be better spent rehabilitating injured wildlife (mainly birds). I did this for about 4yrs and then had to give it away after my DH had an accident and i didn't have the time to attend to all of the birds. I then acquired Parka! I am from Brisbane AUS. I look forward to learning from you all.

I found you guys when hunting down some information i was after relating to IRN's - This was after me ringing a breeder of IRN's and thinking wholy cow - i have a vicious bird on my hands..

Parka mingles with anyone from my Nan to my 2yr old Niece. He Rules the roost here. I also have and MAX who is an Irish Wolfhound and GUS a Foxy X Jack Russell. Parka runs around with them and will often bother them when they are asleep. I have a crazy house.

I look forward to meeting you all and learning heaps.

Welcome to the most informative IRN board available on the net. I too have found this place to be a wealth of information, and the folks here are sincerely bird lovin' people who really care about the feathered friends they have found as companions...

Cool to see that your pups and Parka get along well. My older cat Frosty also gets along with no trouble with Skitty and Isis (my Nanday Conure) although they do keep a close eye on her when she's in the aviary for a visit. Hope to see some pics of Parka soon!
