it was crazy in lismore the hail ravaged the town my parents house had windows broken car smashed my uncles house holes in the roof smashed windows shocking nearly all the shops had windows smashed out ice piled up on the roads and footpaths luckily we didnt cope any it was sunny and hot and i live 30km from mum, so lucky cause we just got chickens n the hail would've killed them they were the size of golf balls i'll put pics up next time i see mum. crazy weather :shock:

Oh no. I hope your parents were insured. Glad to here the chickens are ok!

It was nice and sunny for a change in Melb today! Never know what its going to be here. Tomorrow is meant to be 17 then 23 then 12.. who bloody knows, we get 4 seasons in one day here. :roll: I just want the warm weather already!

Apparently after 3-4 days of crazed nature... over 8,000 (zomg) homes were without power / still are.

YIKES!

Adelaide was nice and peaceful heh.. though where I used to live (in the gulf between NT and QLD) we had a cyclone of decent nature go right over us every two years... cat 2 and cat 3's... thankfully no 4's (home shelters on the eylandt (Groot Eylandt was its name... dutch for "Big Island" lol) are onyl safe to cat 3 :P)

yeah they were insured thank god but lismore was declared a natural disaster on the 10th so many people lost cars and had their homes wrecked alot of businesses lost thousands in stock. going in to town tomorrow probably so i'll grab pics from my mum
