Mimicing?

Post by TropicalAussie »

The other day Iago started squarking at me for a longer time than usual and when he stopped I'm like 'Don't be so silly Iago' and mimiced him in his squarking (though quieter of course) and he did a couple of quiet squarks back which shocked me.
Was he mimicing me, or feeling threatened by my squarking? I didn't want to intimidate him I want him to like me not be tamed by being scared of me. But it was like when you get someone trying to be in charge and someone comes in much more bigger and stronger saying she's in charge but you still try to put up a fight, though much less domineering.
Am I making sense or talking gibberish? I can't seem to write what's in my head today. :D

Well, that cheeky little bugger!! Doesn't surprise me though, his such a determind and sometimes insolent little thing.
He knows everytime i go to pick him up he has no choice but to get on my finger but he will still try to bite my finger or get away and then when he get on my finger, he yells at me to let me know that he's not happy about it. :D
Ahh, the joys of parronthood!

Yup mine tease me, mimic me, yell at me, run away and hide from me, they steel stuff and run away like its a game, jordan will fly away with things and then buzz me like a plane buzzing a tower. They just have BIG personalities   and we love them for every second of it

My quaker pair have joined in on the games too, I don't have a chance. lol.
