Not fit to be a mother...

Post by Mikaela »

I am so ashamed of myself.

I layed across the bed lastnight going to take a quick cat nap. Four boys will run you into the ground. It was around 8. All of the family were up, the birds as always were out and I was just going to lay across the bed with Ms. Kitty who is expecting and take a few minutes to ourselves.

Well, to make a long story short, although I am learning I cant do that, I never woke up until the clock went off this morning. I dashed to the living room, not knowing what to find, the kitty and birds had been out ALL NIGHT TOGETHER! Noone bothered to put them or the kitty up! I get NO help around here in regards to the animals.

I ran to the living room expecting the worst. What do I find? Baby is in her cage sleeping in her normal spot with her door pulled shut but not latched so she obviously closed it herself.

Peek-a-Boo was too in her normal sleeping spot, head tucked sleeping away. Then I start looking everywhere for the kitty hoping to find her put up so I dont have to threaten my families life tonight. Couldnt find her anywhere, she is solid black.

I popped on the light in the living room to begin the birds day and what do I find at the bottom of Peek-a-Boos cage? Ms. Kitty catching some awesome ZZZZZZzzzz's.

This sounds cute because nothing bad happened. HOWEVER, this is NOT cute. I am so ashamed of myself and so mad at my family. They are all gonna get a piece of ME when they get home this afternoon.

I dont need to go into the horror that could have taken place. I never really thought Ms Kitty would intentionally kill them but she could just playing with them.

To make a long story short: DO NOT trust your family will look out for your prize possession, they hardly even know it exists and cant even begin to realize what your bird means to you.

IM FUMING!!! Mad at myself most but they are going to get the vast majority of my WRATH!

0_0 I bet they're still hearing the rant.

Luckily, since my sister also has a ringneck I can trust her to put Hane away and she trusts me to put her Tsume away of one of us falls asleep or leaves. For instance, I went out tonight after I had just brought Hane down to his playstand and my sister brought Tsume out. When I came home they're both back in their cages and the whole household is asleep. And mom is so paranoid about having the birds out with the dogs I'm sure she'd put them away if she had to, Dad as well. They are all equally concerned for our animal's welfare. Even though my parents might not put the right bird with the right cage, lol. :D

Baby is so cute, with the cage closed and all, lol. But your family is dangerous.
