Very silly question

Post by donnanorm »

I feel rather daft for asking this but my partner has asked: just purchasing our bird today, and being in a new cage it has to get used to its surroundings.
Will it know to find the feeders as it was in an outdoor avery and knew where the original food source was, just with only being 10 weeks old and just feeding itself would it be a problem? :)

Yep they can smell the stuff a mile away

To be sure and for your own peace of mind just make sure a perch is close to it.

They are too lil pigs once they get that your the food source! Just put the feeder near the perch. It took my Yoda a few days and I got worried so I hand fed him some mushed vegies and oats. That was the moment he turned into a piggy!
