So very hard to get a decent shot of him as he is sure to have ADHD. The bloody bird will not sit still long enough.
Now I know where the term sticky beak comes from.
When I bought him the bloke at the pet store said he was 4 1/2 months old, however, I think he could be older going on how dark his little ring is and he has also started bluffing... Any ideas guys
well he certainly doesn't have the baby face of a 10-12 weeks just weaned baby, but he does look young I would stick with what you were told as an age
hehe .. Sticky beak ! .. yep .. when you get that camera out they just gotta check out what you have, they want it. Thats when I enjoy the amazing zoom features on my P880

oh I don't know about the sticky beak, Indie see's the camera come out, and runs the other direction. Jasmine (goffin cockatoo) now she want to eat or maybe just play with camera. She has a very sticky beak.
As far as age goes, I got my Indie when he was almost 4 months old, he was very sweet for the first little bit (a little hand shy) and then the bluffing started. I could also see a shadow of the ring around the neck as well at that age. But it is said that both females and males can have shadows, so you really cant go off that. I would have to say that maybe the age is about right. What does his lef band say?
