I guess I should introduce my flock, aswell.
I have two cockatiels, both rescues.
Lilly is an lutino whiteface who came to us with a bad case of sinusitus and vitamin deficiency. With the help of our avian vet, she has flourished into a happy, healthy girl that absolutely loves everyone. She's such a joy to have!
Gir is a pearl(well, I think so.. I'm not to keen on all the different mutations) who had previously been in a home that never cleaned her cage. She basically lived in filth and had a very low quality seed diet; the people she was living with would always yell at her because she was "too loud". Her owner offered her to us for free, and we couldn't turn her down. She is tame, but would rather just do her own thing.
Donovan is the Quaker in the flock and is my baby. He's a little sweetheart who loves surprising us with all that he knows. He knows approximately 30 words or so, and whistles anything from "pop goes the weasel" to the Mario Bros. Theme.

The newest member in the flock is Indie, a recently weaned IRN hen(DNA sexed). She is still in quarantine from the other birds, and hasn't quite fully warmed up to me yet, but thats understandable. =] There are just a few issues she has, which I will explain further in a different thread I will make to concentrate on her behaivor. I'm assuming she is begging to go through the whole bluffing stage. Despite her issues, I fall more and more in love with her with each moment we spend together.
I'll be sure to share pictures of my flock soon.
I look forward to talking with you all, and I hope to gain more and more knowledge on IRNs. =D
