Rope toys- Safety aspect

Post by sakib »

i guys

just wondering exactly where does everyone stand when it comes to giving IRN's toys with ropes that they can chew and pull the actual threads on. Hope you guys know what i mean the rope toys that have fluffy exposed rope ends. Are they safe? :?
It doesn't matter what brings a person its what they leave with that counts

The only rope I find acceptable is boat rope and they love it.

It cant be frayed at all so they tear at it with avengence... keeps them occupied and safe!

Pick it up at Walmart, tie some knots in it and watch your bird turn into a monkey!

No worries about intanglement with their talons and such. Boat rope doesnt allow fraying.

I tie a knot and then drill a hole through a block of wood strung through to sit on the knot... rinse and repeat.
