Harness

Post by FGM »

Was wondering if anyone here uses a flying harness? I bought one for Jangles but have never had any luck getting it on him.I think I am scared it will hurt him and then be a bad experience.
I would like him to wear it as then he can go outside with us and fly in the air. When I have got it on before he just spends the whole time chewing on it.
Any ideas????????
I want it to be a positive experience for him.Any ideas for yummy treats while he has it on.Sunflower seeds did not work.
Thanks
Lauren

I dont have one and I've decided not to get one reading everyones experiences with flightsuits and harnesses. IRNs dont seem to like them and I'd imagine they'd chew right through it.

I remember this topi circulating a wile back. A bunch of us got these flight suites or harnesses most ended up with bad bites and scared birdies. They are just not something irns tolerate.

peanut hated the harness i got him. he wouldn't even look at it. i wouldn't reccomend them for smaller birds either. too much of a hassle. i wonder if our yellow nape would wear one this summer?
