My bird's diet
My partner and I bought a Lutino Ringneck about four months ago from a relative who hand rears a variety of different birds. My ringneck is very tame, and has recently taken to trying his very hardest to steal mine or my partner's food when we are eating next to his cage! We don't mind this at all, in fact we try and encourage him, but our biggest concern is that we might give him something that is bad for him without realising. I know that you can't give parrots avocado, rhubard, chocolate and alcohol but I need to know if there is anything else that would be bad for him. It's a shame, as chocolate is always the thing he tries to steal the most!
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Paddyowner,
There are many things you can offer your bird. I give my bird just about everything, the safe thing is moderation! You just want to make sure you limit salty or sugary foods. I have included a link to a website. There are many articles and listings of toxins and hazards to your bird. This includes dangerous foods, plants, and materials. Once you have clicked on the link just scroll down to "Toxins and Hazards" towards the bottom left side of the page. Hope this helps.
