Book - "The Parrot Who Owns Me"

Post by barbemac »

My mother is an avid birder and met the author of "The Parrot Who Owns Me" on a birding trip. The author is Joanna Burger, a professor at Rutgers University. Mother loaned the book to me and I just finished reading it last night. The subject of the book is a red-lored Amazon named Tiko, and I highly recommend this book as great reading for any parrot lover! It is published by Villard Books, a division of Random House, copyright 2001.

...for the tip. Love to read about parrots and know I've seen this book but don't think I've read it.

I'll have to put it on my list.
