mkay, Willie & Santana have been "going at it" since yesterday morning ... i wuz sitting here at the 'puter which is right beside their cage & i hear all this cooing & stuff ... so i look up & see ... OMG!! they're just gettin their groove on right in front of God & everybody!! just thought that i'd let y'all know ... it's too funny cuz i thought breeding season wuz in spring ... ummmm, DUH!! Willie's acting like an 18 year old boy & Santana's just being cool. it's really fun to observe them ... a human guy could learn alot about foreplay from these babies!!

oh yeah ... they're both 3.5 yrs old & Santana wuz a breeder before i got her, but she only laid 2 eggs in her last clutch, so that's why i wound up with her ... she needed to removed from her mate & i wanted a "buddy" (HMPH!) for Willie ... SURPRISE, SURPRISE, SURPRISE!! yes, i've had her a nesting box, but not set up with wood shavings 'til this a.m. ... i just had NO idea (1) that they'd ever be this close; and (2) that they'd actually be doin the "dirty-bird" (as Karen Walker sez ). i really didn't want 'em to breed or didn't care one way or the other, but i reckon there's not alot i can do since Willie began tearing at my hand like a wildman about a week ago!! 
sheeeeesh, i just got Santana where she'll step up & got my hand healed up from that blood bath & believe me, it WUZ a blood bath ... now Willie's in frikkin heat & my hand looks like rare steak again!!! wauuuuuughhhhh!!!! oh well, i'm keepin my digits AWAY from that beak for awhile!!
