weirdly enough, our two birds don't get along very well. We put the IRN next to the cockatiel and the IRN tried to bite our other birds head off!!! Our cockatiel is a female and we don't know Peanut's sex yet. Maybe thats why they don't get along. lol. Anyways, thanks for the reply with the pics! Our IRN keeps getting more green everyday!!

Actually irn’s are notorious for not liking to be in close proximity to other birds. the wanting to kill your tiel is a typical irn response. These birds will go as far as killing other birds if caged and the other could not get away. Also irn’s are prone to not liking other irn’s. These are not the most social of birds.

Some people are lucky in that their irn likes or will tolerate being out and supervised with other birds. Also if your Peanut starts to like your Meatball keep them under supervision as they get older you never know how an irn who reaches maturity will change when the hormones kick in. George loves being with my two tiels and Doots is his little buddy but even sweet George has his moody days and on those days he stays in his cage so Doots doesn’t get hurt. I actually think that when George is moody it because he wants time alone and being in his cage alone doesn’t bother him but those days he doesn’t play with toys he just seams to sit there brooding or plotting his take over.
