how to post on board...

Post by Mikaela »

Melika was very helpful in teaching some of us to set up our avatar.

Anyone out there want to do some step by step instructions on how to post pics right here in the message box? I can't seem to pull it off.

Hope someone has the time and know-how... I'm lost, though I try everyday. Tricky board!

Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have accepted that fact myself. I wish, for the sake of easier viewing, we could all learn to copy/paste pics right here in the box. It cant be that hard, there just must be a catch to it. Thing is, I am pretty good with computers and even I cant figure it out.

I have nothing better to do and love a challenge so by the end of the day... I'll have some posting instructions :!:

Adding an image to a post
phpBB BBCode incorporates a tag for including images in your posts. Two very important things to remember when using this tag are: many users do not appreciate lots of images being shown in posts and second, the image you display must already be available on the Internet (it cannot exist only on your computer, for example, unless you run a webserver!). There is currently no way of storing images locally with phpBB (all these issues are expected to be addressed in the next release of phpBB). To display an image, you must surround the URL pointing to the image with tags.
