No Mama!!!

Post by Mikaela »

Hey Ya'll:

India and I have came along way. My fingers do not have a single bite on them. However, I am still left with one problem, which I actually created myself. When I first got her, I was scared of her lunging so to prevent that I got her from her cage her way... with a perch stick. That worked for me and her.

Well, she is a big girl now and I don't choose to do this anymore. Yesterday, I begged her to step up from her cage but she refused so I let her stay in and kept trying ALL day. She would never step up, only open her mouth like she was goig to get me but never did. She never stepped up so I never let her out. This is day 2 that I will continue with this. Is two days too long to stay in the cage if she is still getting as much attention as any other day?

Am I using a good technique or can anyone else offer more suggestions? I dont intend to let her out today either unless she steps onto my finger. But, starting to feel bad for her as she is NEVER in her cage. Let me know what you think.... thanks yall
