 *passes out on the floor* Dats is a BOY?!??! Omg I am sooo confused now...that bird acts just like a female...though that explains his fascination with Prinny that one time

Congrats Chamon!

Boy!!

Post by Bird crazy »

Sugar and spice and everything nice that's what little girls are made of,
Snips and snails and puppy dog tails that's what little boys are made of.

Seems like lots of little boys right now. Mine too.

Just wait for all the snips that come along with that boy, you're going to love him.

I would take a guess and say that Dats is a girl.
DNA sucks, totally unreliable.
Belive me, i have proven them wrong before.

Well Dats is about 22 months, and she/he... IT displays and dances, demonstrating both male and female behaviour.

No ring yet, only time will tell for sure!

Look at that low, flat beak... and that voice and personality. I will buy it when I see the ring. Thats why I didnt DNA... too many faux paus.

These babies never cease to amaze me, this is a trip.

Now I find myself staring at Dats... Maybe she looks girlie because NO OFFENSE, she may be a little chunky. Im sure she is spoiled rotten and shares food with mum.

But look how flat the top of his/her head is. Male. Females are alot more round on top of their heads. Males look more 'parrot' like on their heads than budgie like females. Maybe that said it better. Its 6:30 am and I dont know if Im still drunk or it has rolled over into a hangover. Doing the best I can hehe.

But the beak feet and personality scream little girl. 22 months and no ring. Doesnt mean one wont come, their is still time.

In my experience, DNA tests are not accurate enough to even waste my 20 bux on. I wonder how breeders feel about them.

OMG!? I wonder how accurate the DNA test was? Just by her behavior I am almost positive it’s a girl?!!!! I can’t believe the results!! I wonder if they messed up? Ohh well, how old is she?

22 months old, no ring... So angel like. Dats a boy... too weird!

If she oops he is a boy it will make us all look dumb because SHE was the one we were positive about.

I hear so much about male and female behavior in IRNs and they both are different i was wondering what are the different behaviors that males have and that females have so i can watch mine for the girl or boy behaviors my IRN is about 6 1/2 months now and just wondering what to watch for to be able to see any signs of male or female. Can some one give me some info on it please.
We all love are indian ringnecks and we all agree there great birds.
