I opened the pack, minding my own business, and lou came BOLTING down from the top of his cage. I'm surprised the photos came out I was laughing so hard when i took them. I think i should email them to Hershey's!

**disclaimer** the IRN in this photoshoot was not given chocolate, he was playing with the wrapper...even though his mamma spends a lot of $$$ on toys. He was amused with the empty wrapper. No there were no traces of chocolate....mamma made sure!

I sure hope you guys liked this as much as I did!

Gwen,
That was too cute. I loved it. He sure was a bird on a mission! What a gorgeous boy he is. You should try to send a copy or two of the pics. to Hershey! I bet they'd get a kick out of them!

Hugs,
Jen

PS Glad you put the disclaimer in, just knew someone was going to go crazy on yo' a** about chocolate and birds! :D

Yeah man...chocolate and fids don't match. Prinny almost killed herself one day...snatched a piece and procceded to shred the foil off. She didn't get any but she came close. I almost killed her myself...*sighs*

Definately get a manager right away. That bird's a natural.

I'll bet Hershey's would love it. My favorite shot is where he's looking down with that one eye. That pose always slays me. I don't know why but when they turn their head and look with one eye it cracks me up. But then the next shot looking at you like "maybe she won't realize I'm going to get that thing"

Thanks for sharing.

Glad you guys enjoyed. I put that disclaimer in b/c it was just the wrapper but I know that chocolate and birdies don't mix.

That disclaimer rocked, thanks Qwennie penny.

We have to remember *some* members dont know any better.

I can say this as we both have boys and they are equally UGLY right now. My lord, Baby looks bad but I feel better seeing your guy because *I Know* how majestic he looks when not moulting.

There is hope !!!!

Hey MIk how long has ur baby been molting? My dude seems to have been this whole summer. It started with only a few feathers at the bottom of his cage and a few pin feathers on his head. Now all I do is vaccum everytime i enter into my room. Also can you see any black feathers coming in yet? and if so where? Pics would be great!!

Literally, for months :!:

I dont know why this is taking so long, other than this is his first adult moult? I dont know.

It started fast... wake up and your bird looks like ****. But then slowed to a crawl. Then he lost enough tail feathers that he looks almost like a baby.

They are coming out now though... just real thin and not much of one compared to how he should look. I think all of this hot weather may be making this moult longer?

And the suck part is... a moult to be, at this point will prove boy or no boy so it IS really getting on my nerves. Baby has a very distinctive black ring underneath but thats it.

Im still not convinced and wont be til I see a full ring. Thought my Baby was a girl for a yr.

Prinny is doing the first year moult as well and looks horrible. I cannot wait until it stops. Feathers everywhere...she's lost nearly all of her tail...she looks so pitiful!

LOL, I was laughing the whole time reading that. Sylvester is exactly the same when it comes to me eating ANYTHING. He would rather play with things hes not supposed to than things I give him to play with. Cute pics!
