Do you have any pictures of these birds?
I'm not doubting what you said, but it is VERY hard to breed Cinnamon Pallids. Could it be possible that your Skyblue Lacewing is actually a Pallid Bue? And the Golden Olive Lacewing was actually a Pallid Grey Green?

Also, the Albino Cock, which were the parents? It would have to be Blue/Ino father and Albino Mother.

And you can't get Green/Grey.

sorry, thats what we call them in Australia :? We dont use the term Pallid over here much and I am not sure what that is but I think Pallid means sort of a paler colour doesnt it so that sounds about right. I wasnt tryiing to say we had anything terribly exotic but just wondering what we might get. :) the names are so confusing as Australia uses completely different names for colours compared to USA
But sure here are the pictures as requested. I cant post the golden olive lacewing as we only have its offspring not the bird as you can see by my post. But that is what the breeder called its sire so maybe he was wrong.
You are correct on the Albino parentage.

Grey-Green cock before getting ring. (Sorry i think i typed it as Green/grey which may have been missleading as I didn't mean it was split to grey)some people call it an olive or something.

Pastel Silver hen

This is what we call a Skyblue lacewing hen in Oz (sorry the pic isnt a bit better) with the Albino Cock. The hen is a pale blue with a white head

Also while on the subject of names, what do you call this one? Over here we call it a pastel Blue. Again the photo is not ideal, the colours on this bird blend and are not seperate like a pied which is a bit how it looks in this picture probably due to lack of pixels achieved by my camera (need to buy a more expensive one I think :D )

thanks heaps for your clarity!

I am in Australia, i'm just using the correct terms.
Pallid is the proper name for Lacewing.
Your Skyblue Lacewing is actually a Blue Pallid (Blue Lacewing)
Since the 'Golden Olive Lacewings' are so hard to breed, i will say that it was actually a Grey Green Pallid.

Just so you know:
Pastel Blue = Turquoise
Lacewing = Pallid
Yellow headed Cinnamon = PallidIno
Silver = Grey Cinnamon
Skyblue = Blue Cinnamon

Albino Cock x Blue Pallid Hen
=Blue PallidIno Cocks
=Albino Hens

My mind is elsewhere at the moment and i can't really think properly. I might have another go later or let someone else do it. The birds are Grey Green/Turquoise Cock x Turquoise Grey Cinnamon Hen

Also, the bird in the last photo is a Turquoise ('Pastel Blue')

Thanks Jeremy,
I am pleased with the results from the Albino & "Blue pallid"
I dont know how you get your head around all this stuff.
I am not in a hurry for the answer on the other pair but would really appeciate if you could answer at a later date when you have the time as I know you are really the best man for the job!

The Grey Green/Turquoise Cock and Turquoise Grey Cinnamon pair really have me stumped. But i think i have worked it out now.

Grey Green/Turquoise Cock x Turquoise Grey Cinnamon Hen
=Grey Green/Blue/Cinnamon Cocks
=TurquoiseBlue Grey Green/Cinnamon Cocks
=Grey Green/Blue Hens
=TurquoiseBlue Grey Green Hens

I'm not too sure, it seems wrong to me :?

BTW, a TurquoiseBlue Grey Green is a 'Pastel Grey' with very strong pastel markings.

Dani... you know I love you like a sister which allows me to say this to you but noone else had betta!

Yous an airhead girl. :lol:

Its soooo cute. I can literally see and hear you say that and dont know you any better than the man in the moon... mannerism why.

Im the mother hen or bitch, depending on how you see me. Either is fine and both apply.

Jen, she is our nervous-break-down waiting to happen. Equally as cute because she shares that side of her. We get to be her free therepy and I love it.

Bird Crazy is our freakazoid/hypocondreac (sp) :lol: And we wouldnt want her any other way.

Lil missi is our proud new mom that cant learn, buy, do enough for her baby. Reminds me alot of me as a new parront.

Thats just a few off the top of my head of the mix we call a family. Sure does seem to work. We play off eachother in a very healthy way.

I appreciate ya'll.
