poorly ringneck

hi all,

i have a ringneck (pepe) today is the 3rd day he has been off colour, and he is pulling his feathers out, day 1 he was very quiet

off colour slightly, day2 fathers was looking grey took him out the cage and made a fuss of him and cleaned his cage out still very quiet that night and fell to sleep out of his cage wich he would not do any other day and he dithers as if he has a cold?, 3daystill quiet and got a bit of colour back, can you help me by telling me what could be wrong with him, hes only 2years old, and what could have coursed this.
do you think we have not paid him enough attention?

Feather plucking is usually caused by boredom, hurt feelings or confusion. Have you changed something in his routine? or given him something that he isn’t use to eating or seeing some birds are really fragile to change? Is he missing someone? Are you his favourite person or does he like someone else better?
He may just be I’ll and may need to be seen by a vet. But I would check for changes first and then have him checked out.
