Hello everyone

Post by AmandaB »

Hi, I'm Amanda, married and have 3 children. I'm from PA, but the military just relocated us to GA, been here almost 3 weeks. We have a 12 yr old Indian ringneck and an 11 yr old African ringneck. Also, our IRN is bonded with a 29 yr old Amazon (don't blame me they were that way when we got them!) and our ARN is infatuated with our 5 yr old sun conure. That part isn't my fault either although I do let them live with each other. We also have a 4 yr old cockatiel that is really our son's but we all share him. We have a 4 yr old coonhound mix, and 2 cats that currently reside with my grandmother until we can bring them here with us. I miss them terribly.

We did have a 2 yr old female IRN and male ARN but lost them in a horrible accident along with my 6 budgies. It was terrible and heartbreaking and I'm still not nearly over it and really don't like to talk about it much. Sorry.

Can't wait to meet everyone and share stories and pics! :)

Thanks for the welcome. Here are a couple of pics....

This is Fred and Billy, best buds

Skittles and Ducky, Ducky fancies himself Skittles protector and does a darn good job at it. But is a total sweetheart when you take him away from her.

This is Zippy, our cockatiel. I don't have any recent pics of him loaded on the computer so this one will have to do.

I haven't taken new pics in weeks. We just relocated and as soon as I get everything in place (or at least somewhat in place) I will take more. Just ordered more toys and made a few so that should get a few interesting pics. It also just occured to me that you guys have probably never seen any of my photos so I could just about show you anything! I look and see what nice ones I have.
