Today I took Fiona to get her wings clipped better and her nails trimmed. She sqwacked, but was fine aferward. Then I took her by my parents house to show my dad(he always wanted a bird, but my mom won't let him). There were two big dogs there and more neighbor children and their parents than I could count! She let the kids pet her tail

and stepped-up on their arms and was a sweet sweet bird. She did try to bite a few times when people reached out to pet her or stuck their fingers in front of her face(go figure they were all adults too), but even then she didn't bite hard! I have a sis whose 6, a bro whose 9, and a bro w/ Down syndrome that is 16. Corey, the bro. that has down syndrome is terrified of all animals at first, but I eventually got him to pet her tail. My mom of coarse couldn't care less, but everyone else was excited. My dad kept saying," I kind of like her." Which really means he loves her. Anyway, I guess one good thing about being transfered all the time was that she is used to riding in a car, but she was obviously excited that she got to come back to the same home, because from the time we pulled up to the time she went back in her cage, she was dancing w/ excitment. Now, she taking a nap...poor thing had a lot of excitement today. I also bought her some treats and a new ball-like toy because I thought she'd be a wreck after the grooming incident, but she's great and couldn't care less about her new stuff (not yet anyway)
