Molting

Post by Linnea »

My IRN just started molting last week. He looks terrible! I don't recall that he looked this bad in the past (I've had him for 5 years). I feed him vitamins for molting , his appetite is fine, he's active and doesn't really act any different. Could there be another issue that I'm overlooking?

i just got a IRN last week and the lady that gave him to me said that he may be molting, his feathers doesn't look well groomed. What causes this? What can be done about it?

I personnaly wouldn't worry about their moult too much, for it's quiet normal that they look like a "scruffy cat "when they moult.Mylo is going through one now but l know when it's over he'll look just even better than before :D
