Hey everyone,
A few weeks ago I found an indian ringneck on the street very very scared. When i got home i noticed he only has 2 fingers on the left foot and on the other one he doesn't have any... at the time there was no bleeding and where his fingers are supposed to be it looks like he has scars as if someone actually cut off his fingers (which i hope is not true because i can't imagine someone who would do something like that) anyway, he is healthy and i got him a new cage and toys and he loves to play with my 7yr old quaker parrot too. At first he was very frightened of everything and everyone but now he is comfortable and very happy. I still can't help but wonder what could have happened to his feet...I will insert some photos and if someone knows please let me know as soon as possible. Thank you!!!
I need your help!

I think this is "club foot" which is commonly seen in feral pigeons, sometimes feet get tangled in netting, circulation is cut off, and the toes die and fall off. Or, it could be scarring from an infection, only an avian vet could tell for certain.

PS, the parasitic infection is called Bumble foot

Could be other birds, especially in over crowded aviary.

If it was mutilation, I doubt if Scaly foot would be present,
