*waves* Hi. I am new to these beautiful birds. I am expecting my first one in about four months. It is an albino and is so cute! Anyone who can give me a heads up on the attitude and what life is like living with one would be a great help! Thanks! Dani03 :)

HI DANI03,
Life with a ringneck is great!! They are smart birds,They do go through a bluffing stage. They get kinda mean. You wil think it went back to wild, but it didn't. it will lunge at you, try to bite you. But just hang in there, it will be the same friendly bird again, soon. Just pretend that nothing happened. They are small birds with a big bird attitude. Mine is 5 months old and the best thing I ever did was buy him/her. You will grow to love that bird. Then wonder how you would live without it, at least that's how I feel about Nikki. I think mine is just starting the "bluffing" stage. But I wouldn't trade him/her for anything. This is a good site to belong to. Ringneck, the administrator, knows quite alot about these beautiful birds. You will find alot of answers to your questions 0n here. Everyone on this is quite helpful, but like I said, Ringneck really knows alot. Good luck with your baby. Keep us posted.
