Baby Ringneck

Hi All! We live in Zimbabwe and have just gotten our first ever baby IRN. It is a gorgeous bird and as per our pet shop instructions I have been feeding it 2 teaspoons of pronutro with water, 3 times a day. My buddy is loving it! Buddy is about 6 weeks old and i'm wondering about weaning him.. when do we wean him? He also likes to hide still.. is this normal? Do we give them water as well? Buddy is very cuddly and we are just loving it.. I look forward to hearing everyone's info! :D :D
