Food dunking

Can anybody tell me why me Cheech (Indian Ring neck ) dunks food. His fruit and grain bread crusts just about every thing even his corn out of the seed mix?????????

Because he's a parrot

That he is. Middle of the night house is silent and I hear a chook laying an egg. Not it's Cheech again being a Parrot.

I'm frequently taking balls and blocks out of the water dish. Sometimes I come home and the water is green or purple but there's noting in the dish that would make it that way. I assume he's dipping his chewed popsicle sticks in there to turn it colors.
