Sanjay replies when I say "night night", he doesn't Say it, but makes a responsive noise. The shower must have been bliss for her, she was obviously "in bits", it has been ultra hot and humid today. Ok, another suggestion, could Jolleys or Pets At Home order the ladder you are after?. We have a big pet and aquatic store at Henlow, and they "do" all sorts of birds, from Parrotlets to Mollucan Cockatoos, my late husband fell in love with a black headed Caique. Anyway, they are pretty good at taking telephone orders and posting stuff. I wouldn't buy an IRN from them though, way too expensive!.

What have you done to my phone? I leave it on the table and get dinner ready and when l come back you are sitting on the perch looking all innocent. You tried to make a call? Did you get through? No? It was engaged? Gosh how can l stop you gnashing my things?

Oh well you are a bird after all what can l expect and l have pushed you to the limit today. I bought a plant, a mint plant it stinks worse than canabis, when l put it into Billie's cage she had a close look and then ignorred it completely. Well not completely because l found a chewed leaf on the floor, I thought l had better not cover you up with that in there but when l tried to take it out you gave me a look of reproach l did not have the heart to take it out!

Yes l did make you have a shower, you got wet again but that is no excuse for destructive behaviour.

No, AJ, I live in Bedford, and Henlow is in Bedfordshire. Sanjay was chortling along to the carpet shampooer this evening, it used to be the vacuum cleaner he chortled to, but since I have this new one, he prefers the shampooer. Mint plant?, a whole potted one?, good grief!, tomorrow is market day, so Sanjay will have his bunch of fresh Coriander to shred and chew.I might even run to a bunch of fresh Dill. He doesn't use the phone, he uses "bush telegraph", better than smoke signals I suppose.

I think Billie thinks there are snakes lurking under the sofa she just will not go on the floor, so we have to rely on the table to provide a flat surface. She loves biting the collar of my shirt but when l change into a well chewed shirt she looses interest. This old shirt l cut the sleeves off and l tried to get her hide under the material but no way as far as she is concerned there could be a snake hiding there.

The other day she sat on the perch in the bath room with her eyes closed, but as soon as l turned off the water she started to shriek. In the end she used a whole bath of water she was just lettintg te water bounce off the perch and splash her. I took the opportunity to spray mist her which went down quite well. But after l had turned off the water she just sat there hoping l would relent and turn the water back on.

However she a bit like me, we think only dirty people wash and then once or twice a week is enough this thead has become too long again l think l shall start a new one but what tio call it, anybody got ideas?
