. Tao is my first bird I have owned and I was told by multiple people not to get a ringneck as a beginner bird. Personally I couldn't be more happier with my choice as he is a great bird. I've taken the time to learn his behavior and just given him time to adapt which I think is the best way to get to know your ringneck. I will be sure to post more pictures as he gets older. Hi all I'm new to the forum and would just like to introduce myself and my 11 month old ringneck called Tao . Tao is my first bird I have owned and I was told by multiple people not to get a ringneck as a beginner bird. Personally I couldn't be more happier with my choice as he is a great bird. Hi and welcome. I think you'll be fine. Before I got my bird somebody actually told me I couldn't hold a job and also keep a Ringneck.
