Findings

Post by Ring0Neck »

I heard today on the radio (regarding humans)
Children born from a father over 40 y old are more prone to mutation.
They were saying more mistakes will be made in the DNA in older men... etc etc.

I'm thinking that this could hold true for birds as well, & why not?

Peter,

Men over 40 years of age = a Ringneck around 7-8+ years old.

I had a lutino cock that we hand reared in 1980 and bred with him till he died in 2007, never a sick day and three babies in his final year

I stand corrected, but dispute RingONeck figures if man aged 40 = Ringneck 8 years then man 80 = ringneck 16?
