One of my friends is upset, before she left for school her bird passed away. I feel so sad for her. I remember in fifth grade when I lost a budgie. my mamma had to tell the teacher why i was so upset . God I'd be crushed if that happened to lou.

I cried over all three of my budgies! I loved those little guys. They were my first birds...they had such character. I still get sad when I think about them. I think I cried over every chick that didn't make it too...I'm just a sentimental at heart for birds

I didnt do well when Peek-a-Boo passed either.

Her previous owner and I were told she was only 2 but when she died the dr put her at around 20 and she had a bad heart and it gave out.

Bless her heart, she had to have passed fast because I found her in her water dish where she must have been taking a drink, had the attack and fell into it.

I thought she was playing... she wasnt. I was like Boo! What are you doing you silly girl! Then I realized she wasnt doing anything. Her eyes were open... I didnt know. Just thought she was caught bathing and you know how ringnecks will just stop for a bit and look at you? I thought that was what she was doing.

It was just awful. Thought I was playing with my bird and she wasnt with me anymore. I dont know why I did this and havent thought about it since but I took her out of her water dish and blowed her dry, like she liked. Didnt think about it when I was doing it but now it sounds like an awfully odd thing to do.

ACK! Crying now. gotta go.
