The Orgreenic pan

Post by pattiB »

Does anyone use these? They say Ceramic non stick and are PTFE and PFOA free. I love these pans. I thru mine out when we got Gracie because I wasn't sure. But today I saw some more and read the labels. What are your thoughts? I cook oil free most of the time so they are awesome for me. I'd love to be able to use them again.

If the pan is truly just a ceramic coating over aluminum, then it seems safe. I couldn't find any definitive answer to what exactly the 'non-stick ceramic coating' is. Perhaps if you can contact the company and ask them, and the reason why you ask, you might get a good answer.

I've been called 'birdbrained' before, but somehow I don't think this is what they meant. say:hah-nay

It has aluminum alloy core. I contacted a bird rescue friend of mine last night. She said she has a few friends that have been using them with no problem. So this morning I used it on a low medium. All is good. :D
