New baby's confused me a little
This is from my mystery pair, they seem easy to pick from the eye but they keep throwing different babies.
Anyone able to guess what mutation this young one is?

Re: New baby's confused me a little
Hi, I was just scrolling thru your photos and noticed some (limes)???? attached to the cage....Is that what I saw. Do they love them? I have a 4 months old female. I'm having so much fun introducing her to new foods. Just wondered about the limes. Thanks.
Re: New baby's confused me a little
Nah they are Granny Smith apples they are a little more sour than the red apples and the ringnecks love them every now and again. Never tried lines before
Re: New baby's confused me a little
Yeh I was thinking it was one of the parblue mutations but ill wait til after its first moult before I decide, it's strange because it was bred from a greygreen cock X Dark green hen, last time there was a violet
Re: New baby's confused me a little
Yeh I figured that was the case, just wanted to check what other people thought. Thanks

Re: New baby's confused me a little
Of course the other possibility is that your dark green hen is in fact a violet green.
To test breed you can put the male to a blue hen and hen to a blue male.
Also, the next 2 pictures from your link there's a turquoise sl edged bird, is that the same bird in question?
If so, hen could be a green violet sl edged & your violet you bred previously was a hen.

Yeh it could be but it certainly looks alot more like a dark green than the violet green, the edged bird is seperate and I will be breeding it with a violet next season.

Here is the other baby from this pair, it is very brown which means the father must be split for cinnamon also.
