Michelle i was giggling to myself reading ur post, not only because of the image i had of a lady sorrounded by all the animals , but you sound just like me except in my house they call me 'the bird lady' from mary poppins with the odd 'tupence a bag' thrown in too. Fortunatly I have a crazy sense of humour [laugh at anything] so its not too bad, besides i have names for them too, haha.Anyway all my familys pets end up by my side. Except the stick insects, although i wouldnt hurt them i just couldnt bring myself to touch. The giant african land snails dont bother me though, infact they are great. Anyway back to irn's, i agree with you, letting Marley out of the cage for some investigating is definatly helping with his tempermant. He will actualy take food from my hand outside the cage , he would only take it from the safety of his cage befor. I really want to have his wings clipped too but i dont want to inflict the trauma of it all on him. He wont let me touch him yet, thats if he ever does. I was kind of hopeing i could eventually get in to stepup then take him in a nice calm manor, but that could be a year away for all i know, we have summer to get through yet with windows and doors open etc. I know its in his interest to have it done but im scared i will undo any hard work that i have put in. So for the time being im just going to carry on and see what happems, and this summer we are all going to melt in our house

Anyway im waffleing on and ive got seeds husks to clear up , so good luck with your doolittle farm, will speak again no doubt. Natalie xx
