Hello all, My name is Natalie, im from Hertfordshire in the U.k. Im mum to 3 humans [2 of which are at the teenage stage, joy] 1 dog, heinz variety. 2 giant african landsnails, and more recently my new mate Marley , a 2yr old male IRN, who when he first arrived was frightened of any humans because he hadnt been given any attention at his last home. 4 months down the line he will take food from my hands and also eats a stable diet with fruit and veg instead of sunflowers and peanuts alone. He seems so much more relaxed and actualy wants your attention . The whole family love him, and we are looking forwood to marley really coming out of his shell and maybe one day sit on our hand. I will keep you posted of Marleys coming out! shall we say. I will also get one of my teenagers to put some photos of marley on here. Yes they do come in very handy when it comes to the p.c. So until then take care. Natalie.xx

Hello, I am from Worcestershire UK.... I have a one year old green IRN Ringo, We have had him for approx 5 months now, very scared when we got him but now accepts treats, steps up and spends most of his time out of his cage. he is still very nervous but gradually coming out of his shell. I must admit, looking around in the Uk you cannot find many breeders who sell baby IRN's i don't think they are as popular here as in the USA and Australia. This site is pretty good on advice.

Its gr8 to here from others in the same situations michelle. Well i have already gained so much from this site, apart from a load new freinds, the info is gr8. After reading ur post i decided to take the plunge with marley, so for the last 3 nights i have let him out of his cage. I thought he would be too scared to come out. How wrong was i, he couldnt wait. You could see the look on his face, he was blown away. The most amazing thing for me is that he also goes back in the cage too. So pat urself on the back love, u just took marley one step closer to the 'land of love'. Thanks :D natalie xxxx
