Tail bobbing?
My little one [I actually don't know how old he is, but he's always little to me!] sneezes every now and then. Of course I'm like OH NO WHAT COULD BE WRONG! I made this little video while he was eating breakfast this morning...his tail is so long I figured it's just balancing. Is this tail bobbing? ...

Picky eater
I swear I have the pickiest eater in the world! Alastor loves fruit, obviously. But for veggies he only goes wild for sweet potatoes...he'll eat pepper every now and then and squash. Normally he'll just throw what he doesn't like on the ground without even trying it. Does anyone have any suggestions...

Re: Naptime / Sleep Schedule
Thank you - I used to be gone during the day, so I had no idea if this was a new behavior or not, or if I should be worried. He's super due for a wellness exam and a nail trim soon anyways, but it eases my worries that there are other two feet nappers out there.

Naptime / Sleep Schedule
Hi there! I've had my little darling Alastor [he's a rescue, no idea how old he is] for about a year and a half. We went through a scare many months ago where he stopped eating suddenly, and was sitting on the bottom of his cage. He had a bacterial infection. After antibiotics, his appetite came bac...

Sidestepping
Hi guys, It's been a week since I've adopted Alastor. Alastor has one eye, and isn't hand tamed (yet) so he's very very skiddish. On about day 3 he started what I think is called sidestepping? He runs back and forth really quickly on his perch and then he'll jump to his ladder and start swaying back...

Re: Brand new Ringneck owner!
Thank you! I've been making whistling noises when I get up as to not startle him. I can come up to the cage and talk to him and he looks directly at me, very calmly. But he's definitely afraid of hands. He'll climb to the back top of his cage. I've gotten him to eat peach and apple from my hand, thr...

Brand new Ringneck owner!
Hi there! I adopted an Indian Ringneck today - I named him Alastor. Alastor has one eye, that the rescue told me was damaged, so he's VERY skiddish due to a sight problem. Not sure how old he is either. He fell asleep within the first 10 minutes of getting home - so I'm sure he's quite comfortable. ...
