Ok so 2 x splits will give you an opaline? Or 2 x visuals will give you opalines. Is it sexlinked like pallids and cinnamons?

Re: Emerald cobalt Dom pied (harlequin)
Yes please that would be great, sounds like breeding harlequins with an emerald would be a bit of a head ache to be honest, and I doubt many people would know what they would be looking at unless they really know their colours.

Thanks Robert,
I am not sure if this would change the out come but I was mistaken with the colours of the parents, the dad is a green and the mum is a blue, would that change any of the out come? Also can some one please explain what is a harlequin colour bird and how they come about?
Cheers
Nathan

Re: What would I get
Unsure as the bird is still young and haven't DNA it yet, the breeder seems to think its a cock tho with his 40 years of breeding IRN and the breeding couple that it's come from.

What would I get
Hello all
I was wondering what colours would I get if I breed a turquoise blue with a cobalt blue or violet?
The turquoise blue comes from an albino hen and green cock.
I don't know anything about breeding colours so any help would be appreciated thanks

Re: Hello I'm Nathan & this is Marley
Once the kids are older and understand that when Marley is out of the cage we should be alright, there is plenty of fun toys, bright colours and a mirror to keep Marley occupied until it's time for some out side cage time, and then Marley will be learning some tricks to test him and his memory. So I...

I don't like the idea if clipping marley's wings but I do understand why some people do it to their birds. It's just some thing I don't want to do. The hard part for us is we have to young kids aged 3 and 1.5 years old and they love to go out side all the time and have to be reminded to close the do...
