Re: Missing feathers
I have to wait until I'm on my laptop. But he has a patch under his beak missing which I don't think he plucked. And the breeder said it was due to the formula as all his brothers and sisters were fine and it will grow back in a month.

Re: Missing feathers
His feathers are similar to that, but it's missing them drum under his chin to the top of the crop. So when his head is down you can see it. He may be younger than that then. So do you think it's something I should worry about?

Re: Missing feathers
I just contacted the guy I got him from and he said that I should not worry as it's just from when he was hand feeding him. He said the formula dripped and the feathers should grow back in about a month. Does this sound accurate?

He is eating normally (as in eating anything we give to him), his droppings are normal and he...

Re: Hello from Australia
Thank you both. He started eating fruit but he hasn't been interested in venturing over to the other side of his cage to drink water or eat seeds but he will take them if I give them to him. I do have a photo but will have to post more first. He also has a slight bald patch under his chin, is that n...

Hello from Australia
Hi, today I got my first baby indian ringneck. He has just been fully weaned last week. I brought him home and put him in his cage, but he seems really shy and quiet. I know he needs to be settled in, but I'm hoping he will start eating when he is hungry. Because I picked him up late he was falling ...
