Re: Hello from my new baby and I. :)
Yeah, I've gotten lost quite a few times already! I wish I'd have gotten my bird from a breeder as well, but we love Zuko so much, and wouldn't change a thing. He steps up and hangs out with us, but doesn't really like / know what getting pet is yet. I have an android too. :D I post from my computer...

Re: does anyone do signatures?
I wouldn't mind making a signature image for you.
I did mine. The reason it's plain is because I couldn't get any better pictures of Zuko with the bad lighting and my phones camera.
Feel free to PM me pictures and what you have in mind. :3

Re: A few questions - Posture, noise.
Normally it's pretty loud. He hasn't made any low noises except for his beak grinding before bed. He only chirps once or twice, and either me or my fiance will look at him and say something along the lines of "is that so? :D". We thought it was just him exercising his voice. He doesn't con...

Re: Hello new owner in Bristol England
Welcome Dave! :D What a pretty name you chose for him. I'm sure he'll get it in time. Zuko (my IRN, about 6 or 7 months) will step up, but seems reluctant to try anything else. We're working on it though! I'm really new to the site, and to IRNs as well. The community here is very friendly, full of i...

Re: Hello from my new baby and I. :)
Thank you all for the warm welcome! :D And a special thanks from Zuko, ellieelectrons. :P He is quite adorable. I originally wanted a blue or violet, but he stole our hearts at the pet store, and now I enjoy studying the varying degrees of grey and white on him. <3 Yes, he is starting to let us pet ...

Re: A few questions - Posture, noise.
Thanks for the response! :D Yes, he's eating normally, and never sits on the bottom of the cage. The past two nights around 11 p.m. he'd chirp for a minute or two, then stop. It's hard not to ignore them, as they're so cute! Is it a vocal exercise? Or is he 'calling'? I wouldn't want to ignore him i...

A few questions - Posture, noise.
Hi all, My fiance and I have had our (probably)male IRN for 5 days now, and he's warmed up really nicely. He loves his new cage and toys, he gobbles up his seed mix & fresh fruits and veggies, and he steps up and comes out of his cage 90% of the time with no problem. As this is my first pet bird...

Re: hello irn lovers :)
Hello! :D I'm new to IRNs and this forum as well. Your birds are gorgeous! My little one is around 4 months old, and does the same thing with his cage. He'll come out to sit with us for a while, but he often tries to get back to his cage. He's completely tame, just likes his cage. Here's to hoping b...

Hello from my new baby and I. :)
Hello everyone! After weeks of researching birds, my fiance and I decided on getting an Indian Ringneck. We brought home our new baby today, August 4th, and already love him to pieces. :D He's a gorgeous grey with white under his wings. He pretty much chose us at the pet store, and once he was settl...
