Welcome to the forum, I'm new too. I just joined last night. i have a blue male indian ringneck named Chase. They are amazing animals to live with and great tools to annoy your sibilings with ;).

My male IRN is over 5 years old and has never spoken a word, but he does open his mouth really wide before he sings or squacks. I'm not sure if yours is trying to talk or not, but mine opens his mouth wide before noise comes out so possibly a good sign.
