Re: Greygreen male/grey female
Thanks! Guess I'll have to wait and see. The hen is sitting on four eggs now with her last being laid Sunday. All look to be clear but I'll check them again this coming Monday night and see again. (the first egg would be 2 weeks old at that point and the last would be 8days old). Hoping for the best...

Re: Greygreen male/grey female
Thanks! I do not know what the parent colors of them would be so I have no idea of any hidden colors.
Do you have any phots of greygreen/blue? Just wondering if I should keep any babies from this batch for future breeding..?

Greygreen male/grey female
Just wondering what color the babies might be from my greygreen male with a grey female. They've just started laying. Also, are their any colors the parents could be hiding?

Re: My ringneck has just laid an egg
I have no idea.. I'm sure they would be a bit stressed out from it. You could always call the place where you got them from and see if they're directly related. If not related, let them have a go at it :D Just make sure you're prepared to hand feed babies should something happen and the parents don'...

Here's a topic on it for you
Definitely wouldn't recommend it if they're siblings (brother & sister).

Re: I Think A Breeder Just Tried To Scare Me? Please help.
Maybe her birds just don't like her in general? LOL I think if you treat your animals with respect then they'll do the same back for you. They seem to have a "sense" as to who is good and who is bad.. I don't think I've ever met a nasty IRN although there probably are a few. My breeder pai...

Re: What to Feed your Parrot (recipes, toxicities, links too
Thanks! I have a bunch of fruit trees here and always grow out a huge garden with a ton of extras so I thought beside freezing a lot of it that I could dehydrate some of it. We don't spray anything on our gardens at all (mostly due to forgetting to or laziness LOL) so everything would be organic I g...

Re: Hello from Ontario, Canada!
Thanks MissK will do! Toronto is about 5 hours away from here and there are many IRN breeders out there so they might find something a little closer. If they're willing to make the trip out here when I have babies thats okay too!

This is great! I was wondering about dried fruit though? I do have a dehydrator machine thing that my mom used to use for making apple chips. Anyone think it would be okay to dehydrate some other fruit for them?

Re: Hello from Ontario, Canada!
Thanks everyone!! @Little Buttercup; Which birds would you like to know more about? My GC conure is just a regular green boy (possibly split to cinnamon), and he's a very sweet boy. My lovebird is a dutch blue peach faced lovebird who is currently being Ms. Nasty. Going through her teenager stage LO...

Nest box ideas
Hey!
I'm wondering if some of you could post pictures of your nest boxes that you use for your IRNs. I sort of have an idea of what to get my husband to build but I'd love to see what has worked in the past and present for others.
Thanks!!

Hello from Ontario, Canada!
Hello! I found this website link through the AACC website. Very happy to find a network of people all around the world who enjoy ringnecks as much as I do! I currently have zebra and society finches, a lovebird, a GC conure, and a breeding pair of IRNs. I also breed waterfowl as well! Looking forwar...
