Re: whent do ARN breed?
do you mean "when do IRN's breed ?"
if so , they breed in the breeding sesson but i will have to ask the same question , when is the breeding session for indian ringneck's , i read somewhere its between February and October is that true ? or they breed all year round ?

Re: Hello from Australia!
Ratbags they are. Mine is the same. He adores fresh over sunflowers though so I'm lucky. Obviously his first home that he escaped from fed him a decent variety so he isn't picky about his fresh food. He is the cheekiest bird I have owned yet. I love him to bits though, he cracks me up all the time....

Re: Hello from Australia!
Yeah, I feed those seed bar treats to Shrek all the time. He loves them, then when he is finished he uses the plastic rod from the middle to do his mating dance. Just watch too many sunflower seeds. Its like candy and children, they will eat it above all else but it's not 100% the best so keep bala...

Re: my scared IRN
umm by shake do you mean he moves around a lot or actually shakes? because shaking is a sign of illness, research about it. but besides that it could be that he is really scared so give him time and try to calm him down, by sitting around his cage and just talking to him at a soft voice and try not ...

Re: Hand preference
maybe you did something to get it scared of the left hand =S
try to show him both hands are the same , and that the left hand does not harm him. take slow steps when doing this .
BTW this is a total guess =]
