Birds are scared of hands coz normally when they refuse to go back into cage we use our hands to do so....you need to assure her that u wont harm in any way...i will suggest to use hand gloves and try to do things with your hand it might try to bite first few weeks but soon will stop to do that once...

I m from gold coast...in broadbeach....i know things are really hard for 100000s of ppl no food, no water, no electricity...one of my work mate is from ipswich and stayin in one of the church his area is completely isolate.... anyways i did checked pakshi and loved it both the name and the bird and ...

from last few days i have noticed that max eyes are totally black ....is there any thing to worry....if you look at his image on top you will notice his eyes are white as well...now its just black....

its bit of a trick....u need to make a small image for your profile avator..and upload on some website so you have a link for it....there are so many free websites to upload your image once you do that... click on user control panel >> profile >> edit avator and paste your image link which would be ...

Na i have no idea...the guy i bought from ...was spose to be home but wen i went to pick it up it was his kid who did the deal. and he told me 4-5 months old however the way S/he was in cage in backyard, wasnt really appealing so i guess totally ignored bird. @voilet : i thought about MAX coz i m not sure abt sex and later if i found that its female then it can be maxie or maxine otherwise max is fine....there was another indian name "MITHU" one of very common name used for parrots...but i dropped that idea as well.

Thanks for advise...i never meant to clipped by myself. Bird is not tame. i would let max stay in the cage for few weeks before i decide to let max out. so i think max should be fine as is

Thanks..Max situation is same ...he has been abused and not looked after. so i am tryin to do things really slow when i am close to the cage so he can see what i m doing. I hope that max will be same as your bird and come out of the cage after a week or so.

Hello , I have got IRN(max) just 2 days ago. I am wondering when should let him/her come out of the cage... I am trying to stay close to max so he get familiar with me as he was very scared first day next day bit less...he is improving i can see that however i still cant go really close to him. Thanks
