Nail chewing

My ringneck is constantly chewing at his nails. I have had them trimmed, I have sprayed him and his cage with lice and mite spray.
Does anyone know what this is about? :shock:

When my ringneck pins his eyes and dips his head and raises his wings, he is wanting me to give him a scratch and a pat. I believe it means they want you to physically touch them. It looks like the opposite but my ringneck does it all the time, He loves me to hold him and scratch for for ages. :D

Hello

I have a 6 month old IRN, I don't know what sex he/she is yet. It's name is Rio.
I use to breed and train budgies as a child, but this is my first Parrot.
My daughter is training her first baby budgie at the moment as well. :D
