Lol that's little funny because I tried the glove thing and my girl went crazy! She hated the gloves! You could start off by putting your hand right in front of him/her so they can see it and then pull it away after a few seconds then put it in front of him/her again only a little closer, then pull ...

My bird Liebchen is constantly digging at the bottom of her cage. She puts her head to the ground and kicks her legs for hours.
