Re: Should I?

I'm going to do it! But I told her I would get one from the second clutch. Hopefully there will be a second clutch. :o This gives me more time to get the other two used to each other. :P

That is not what tails are for!

Two days ago I started introducing Ojai and Hurley Bird. They get supervised visitation for about 30 min a day. The first day was good. Hurley Bird was trying to impress Ojai with his mating dance. She/he just kinda looked at him like "whatever!". Yesterday started out the same way then Oj...

Should I?

So a year ago I got a baby IRN from a breeder. Two weeks ago I got a 4 year old male IRN from a x breeder. Now the breeder I got my girl from called me and said she has baby Violets for $250. How hard is it to juggle 3 IRNs? Should I just stick with my semi-tame ones?

Re: YAY!

Seems like it. He did not freak out today when I put my hand in the cage. He also is now taking food from my hand when it is in the cage. A few minutes ago I got some head bobbing. This is going to well... I just hope it does not all fall a part. Side note: I think this is the last parrot I ever get...

YAY!

I got a 4 year old hand raised but wild again turquoise ringneck this past Saturday. He has been sitting on the same perch in the same spot since then. Quiet as can be. Eating good but only if I hang fruits and veggies by butcher string next to his perch. Yesterday he started taking food from my han...

A new addition, and first post.

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2763/4468713772_72e95d972e_o.jpg Ojai! 11 months old sex unknown. I have had Ojai since s/he was 6 weeks. Very independent but loves to be talked to. Ojai makes happy little chirping sounds when I do pet him/her. Ojai is also starting to learn how to talk now. I am no...
