Re: Male afraid of female
Thank you so much for your help! I have had Pepper for a month and Gray for about 10 days. Would multiple females get along in the same cage? I am thinking about possibly getting another female. I love these birds!

Male afraid of female
Pepper and Gray Matter have there own cage together now. It is 4 foot wide, 2 1/2 foot wide, and 5 1/2 feet tall. Gray is scared of Pepper. He flies down every time she gets near him. He is also acting weird with his food. His fruits and veggies he has been emptying out one by one on to the bottom o...

Re: Feral IRN
She gives kisses, you can cuddle her, when you say her name, Pepper, she squawks. The people that we got her from had her for a month and were scared to hold her. Within a week, all she wants is attention. Gray Matter now goes crazy when she is out of his sight. Pepper was beat up by cage mates I be...

Re: Feral IRN
We have been hand feeding him peanuts in his cage. Also we have been getting him out of the cage with a towel and let him run around with our female.

Re: Feral IRN
His name was Gray when we got him. But we renamed him Gray Matter. We trimmed his tail feathers because they were so damaged from his cage. Feral IRN
We rescued a two year old male IRN about 10 days ago. The lady that previously had him did not believe in seeds. She would only feed him cereal and table food. His ring does not go all the way around his neck. She said that she had not handled him in 3 - 4 months. When you stick your hand in the cag...

Help with nursing IRN back to health
I just recently saved a male gray IRN that is about two years old. He is very skinny. His feathers are in very bad shape. They didn't have money to buy him bird food, so they just fed him scraps of human food. He also has not been held in 3 - 4 months, they said they couldn't clean the cage because ...
